Beckfield recognised as 'Good' in all areas following latest Ofsted inspection
We’re delighted to share the news that Co-op Academy Beckfield has been recognised as a ‘Good’ school by Ofsted, marking a significant milestone in its journey of transformation.
The latest inspection highlighted the school’s commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where pupils thrive academically and socially.
Ofsted praised the school for its high expectations for achievement and behaviour, noting ‘pupils enjoy attending the school and their improving attendance reflects the school’s thoughtful approach to promoting regular attendance’.
The report went on to commend the ‘calm and orderly’ school for its ambitious curriculum and ‘carefully designed’ learning environments where pupils are ‘keen to share their learning with visitors’ and ‘children in the early years interact well with each other.’
Behaviour was also noticeably celebrated with the report recognising ‘Incidents of poor behaviour have significantly reduced.’
Since the last inspection, where the academy was deemed as ‘requires improvement’, the report highlighted the development in the ‘ambitious curriculums for all subjects’, going on to recognise the improvement both in published outcomes and attendance.
