We’ve partnered with Müller UK & Ireland to share farm to fridge journey with our pupils
A partnership between Müller UK & Ireland, Co-op Academies Trust and The Country Trust is helping children learn more about the farming industry and how their favourite dairy products get from farm to fridge.
Through hands-on Farm Discovery experiences on local dairy farms, the food and farming experience has been brought alive for young people.
Through the visits, children gain an understanding of how dairy forms part of a healthy, balanced diet and how milk collected on their local farms is an integral ingredient in their favourite Müller products.
Twelve schools will be supported across the course of the year, with some of our schools having already visited Co-op aligned dairy farms. Pupils from Co-op Academy Clarice Cliff school visited farmer Paul Frith on Heath Farm in Knutsford earlier this month, gaining first-hand experience of how milk from the area makes its way to local Co-op store fridges.
