Salary: £50,788 -£55,671

Contract: 1 year secondment leading to a permanent position

Hours/Working pattern: Split-role, 50% of current contracted hours shared between substantive post and Regional Manager

As Regional Manager of Property and H&S, you will be responsible for the following:

  • A fantastic opportunity to support all stakeholders in the delivery of compliant services and good estates management within the Facilities Management Support Teams. 

  • You will have the opportunity to signpost stakeholders to the most appropriate and relevant H&S legislation and add capacity to the Business Operations Team across the Trust.

  • This role works alongside our finance colleagues to ensure Headteachers and Business Managers have the correct information and supports the procurement procedures in line with the Trust’s Financial Regulations and Procedures

  • The Business Operations Team manages a wide ranging and diverse set of properties and works closely together to ensure excellent Property Asset Management, including insurance and valuations. You will have the opportunity to become a valued addition to the team. 

  • The Business Operations Team supports the due diligence process for schools joining the Trust. Your professional skills and abilities will enhance the development of the Trust Growth Strategy and the onboarding of new schools.

  • This exciting opportunity will allow candidates to experience the development of brand new schools from inception to pupil occupation. This is a rare opportunity to see new build development throughout the whole process. You will also work closely with reputable, national building contractors post build during the processes for defects, latent defects and building warranties.

 

You will also work closely with all Headteachers property managers, business managers, site staff and external, third party representatives. You will work closely with the COO and the Central Trust SLT members. and Regional Directors. You will contribute towards the overall management of the Trust’s building assets portfolio.

 

Successful candidates will be experienced professionals in the business operations realm feel comfortable to challenge (and be challenged) and feel confident in doing so. You will be proactive, well organised and passionate about creating the best possible environment for all staff, students and stakeholders.  Experience of working in facilities management and facilities maintenance at senior level is essential. It is desirable for you to have the relevant Health & Safety qualification but this will be discussed at interview.
