What You'll Need to Apply

To join our programme, you'll need:

• A UK undergraduate degree (or equivalent, checked by NARIC) at 2.2 or higher. For secondary teaching, at least 50% of your degree content should be in the subject you want to teach.

• A Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths.

• For Primary teaching, you'll also need a Grade C/4 or above in GCSE Science.

• If needed, you might have to pass Maths and English Equivalency tests.

• It's vital that you have good standards of written and spoken English.

School Experience: Recommend gaining experience and provide the School Experience Programme (SEP) link.

    ◦ Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE): Explain SKE courses with bursaries for specific subjects (English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Computing, Biology, Geography, Design & Technology) and free access to their online learning platform. Emphasise autonomous learning.

    ◦ Interview Process: Describe the stages: pupil-based activity, hidden task, written task, formal interview, and potential panel members

Important Note on AI: We check all written applications for AI use. We won't move forward with an application if AI is found. So, please make sure everything you write is in your own words.

Application Steps: Provide the www.gov.uk/apply-for-teacher-training website, Co-op Academies Trust’s ITT Provider Code (2X4), and recommend early applications as "places fill up quickly". Note the application window (opens 8th October, closes 30th May or when full), with salaried positions closing by 14th March
